Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Support the management of all pharmacovigilance activities including; collection, review, follow up and reporting of adverse events in accordance with location regulations and SOP’s.
  • Prepare reports for spontaneous adverse events of marketed products.
  • Track compliance for adverse event reporting timeframes.
  • Assist management with identifying any trends and issues arising from reports from the local safety database.
  • Review local and global SOP’s and pharmacovigilance guidelines.
  • Review and implement affiliate pharmacovigilance staff training matrix and conduct training for affiliate personnel.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by the PV Team Lead.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelors Degree and/ or Masters degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Life Science
  • 2 years’ experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • A minimum of 18 months Pharmacovigilance experience
  • Strong communicator.
  • Excellent project management and team work skills.
  • Organizational skills and capability of working efficiently autonomously with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
